Privacy Policy

    Effective August 4, 2026.

This Privacy Policy describes how JSH Executive Coaching and Consulting ("JSH Executive Coaching and Consulting", "we", "us") collects, uses, and shares personal information about visitors to our websites and clients of our services. We are committed to handling your information responsibly and in accordance with applicable U.S. privacy laws.

    1. Information we collect

We collect information you provide directly (such as when you email us, book a discovery call, or otherwise contact us), information collected automatically when you use our website (such as IP address, device and browser information, pages viewed, and referring URLs), and information from third-party providers (such as identity-resolution services described below).

    2. Cookies and tracking technologies

We use cookies, pixels, local storage, and similar technologies to operate our site, remember your preferences, measure performance, personalize content, and (where permitted) deliver marketing. You can manage your choices at any time through your browser settings, or by emailing us at james@jamesscotthenson.com. We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal as a valid opt-out for residents of states whose laws require it.

    3. Analytics

Where required, and with your consent, we use analytics technologies to understand how visitors use our site, which helps us improve content and performance. You can limit analytics collection through your browser settings or by emailing us at james@jamesscotthenson.com.

    4. Marketing and advertising

Where permitted, we may use cookies and pixels to measure ad performance, build audiences, and personalize advertising on third-party platforms. You can withdraw this consent at any time through your browser settings or by emailing us at james@jamesscotthenson.com.

    5. Identity resolution

Where permitted, we use identity-resolution providers to associate website visits with contact information that the provider has independently and lawfully collected. This information is used only for non-SMS follow-up — for example, an email from our team or a personal phone call — to people who showed interest in our services. You may opt out of identity resolution at any time by emailing us at james@jamesscotthenson.com.

Phone numbers obtained through identity resolution are never enrolled in automated SMS campaigns or workflow text-message steps. A contact must give us their own separate, direct, and explicit opt-in before we will send them a text message, regardless of how their phone number was obtained.

    6. Text messaging (SMS) data

If you provide your mobile number and explicitly opt in to receive text messages from JSH Executive Coaching and Consulting, we use that number solely to communicate with you about our services. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.

We do not share text-messaging originator opt-in data or consent with any third parties, affiliates, or partners for marketing or promotional purposes. This exclusion includes all of our marketing service providers — your SMS opt-in is completely walled off from any third-party marketing sharing. We share your mobile number with messaging service providers (such as Twilio) strictly to deliver the messages you requested, never for the provider's own marketing.

You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive from us; we will send a confirmation that you have been unsubscribed. For help, reply HELP or email us at james@jamesscotthenson.com.

Phone numbers identified through Identity Resolution (Section 5) are never used for SMS messaging without separate, direct, explicit consent from the contact.

    7. Service providers and sub-processors

We use the following service providers to operate our business. Each handles personal information only on our behalf and under contract, and only to deliver the services we request — never for the provider's own marketing:

    8. Your U.S. state privacy rights

Depending on the state you live in (including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas, and others with comprehensive privacy laws), you may have the right to:

    • Know what personal information we collect, use, and share about you
    • Access a copy of that information in a portable format

    • Delete information we hold about you (subject to legal exceptions)
    • Opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising
    • Limit the use of certain sensitive personal information
    • Non-discrimination for exercising these rights

We do not knowingly sell personal information of consumers under 16. We do not use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about consumers.

To exercise any of these rights, email your request to james@jamesscotthenson.com. We verify identity by email and respond within 45 days (with one possible 45-day extension if needed).

    11. Data retention

We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide our services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.

    12. Children

Our services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

    13. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Effective" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent version.
